VICKS VAPORUB - 50G

Vicks VapoRub is an ointment which is used to relieve nasal catarrh (inflammation of mucous membranes in the nose and throat), congestion (a blocked nose), sore throat and coughs due to colds.

• Levomenthol and camphor calm a cough
• Vicks VapoRub contains four active ingredients: Camphor, Turpentine oil, Levomenthol and Eucalyptus oil
• Eucalyptus oil and Levomenthol relieve nasal congestion (blocked nose).
  Eucalyptus oil relieves catarrh

Ingredients

Active Ingredients:
Levomenthol 2.75 %w/w
Camphor 5 %w/w
Eucalyptus oil 1.5 %w/w
Turpentine oil 5 %w/w

Excipients:
Thymol, Cedarwood oil, White soft paraffin

Warning

Vicks Vaporub is contraindicated in children under 2 years.

In case of fever consult your doctor. Do not swallow or place in nostrils. As with all medicines keep out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. 

Do not use Vicks Vaporub if you are allergic to any of the actives or other ingredients in your nostrils or swallow Vicks Vaporub. 

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Vicks Vaporub.

Directions

Adults:
Rub Vicks Vaporub liberally on the chest, throat and back. Rub in well over the whole area and leave nightclothes loose for easy inhalation.
Or:
Place hot (not boiling) water in a suitable bowl for inhalation. Melt two teaspoons of Vaporub into the bowl of hot water and inhale the vapours.

Children (over 2 years):
Apply lightly to chest and back. Rub gently and leave clothes loose for easy inhalation.
